Embark on a rewarding 2-day trek to the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, accessible to most travelers with reasonable fitness and no need for technical climbing skills.

Start and finish your adventure in the vibrant city of Marrakech, with transport provided to and from Imlil. Accompanied by a local English-speaking guide, a cook, and mules to carry your luggage, you’ll be well-supported throughout your journey.

This trek is a challenging walk rather than a technical climb, suitable for anyone in good physical condition. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the spectacular views from the summit. Standing at 4,167 meters, Mount Toubkal is a trekking peak that may require walking in crampons or using an ice axe for security during the winter months (November to April). The route is designed for keen walkers, involving some easy scrambling and snow slopes.

On the first day, you’ll trek through the picturesque Atlas Mountains, passing green valleys and traditional Berber villages. You’ll spend the night at a refuge, where you can enjoy authentic Berber hospitality and rest up for the final ascent.
